Should I be concerned?

About a month ago, this little place popped up on my cheek.  I thought it was a pimple so I treated it just like one.  But it hasn't gone away.  And it doesn't look much like a pimple anymore.  The best way to describe it is VERY TINY but when you look at it in a magnifying mirror, it kind of has the look of cauliflower (not white but that's the only thing I can come up with that it resembles).

So, should I be worried?  MH wants me to go to the doctor but I keep thinking it will go away (yes, I realize that most things don't just "go away" but a girl can hope)....

Re: Should I be concerned?

  • I would say if it's been there for a month you should probably get it looked at. It doesn't sound like anything too bad but better safe!
  • I would have it looked at.  It could be eczema from the way you are describing it.  I just saw a dermatologist on Friday and love them!  My brother has been there before and had a lot of great success with them.  They have an office in Bluefield.  It's called DermOne.

  • Hmm...I might call them.  I was just going to go straight to my regular doctor but maybe I should try them instead.  It's just weird because it's literally one little place.  Ugh...so annoying.
