I didn't want to say anything about his interview because I didn't want to jinx it, but DH finally (after about a year of applying) got a job as a paralegal!! He gets to leave the job he hates at the local magazine and gets to gain some experience in a law firm!! Not only that, but he'll be working full time and we could even be able to afford benefits. So excited!!

Re: DH got the job!!
Good for him!!!! Yay for the both of you!
Is it a standard 9-5 job, or is he going to be one of those paralegals that may end up working long hours?
I don't know for sure at this point, but I think it's just going to be 9-5. It's real estate law and not criminal litigation or anything like that.

Yikes! I'm also a paralegal, but only have to do 8:15-5:15. I'm just rolling out of bed at 6:45, yuck.

She works a compressed schedule, so she is off every other Friday...I couldn't work that early.
Oh, I hope you get to post like, this soon, too. I know just how frustrating it is. DH and I were seconds away from giving up on Portland and moving South in search of a better opportunity. I'm glad we didn't. Keep your chin up--he'll find something eventually.

Yay for him!
I'm hoping to have good news soon too but we'll see. DH had his second interview Friday and may not know anything for up to 10 days. He doesn't feel as confident about this one as the first one. He said they were really hard to read.
Good luck! I hope your hubby gets some good news soon!
