Good morning ladies!

Good morning!

How was everyone's weekend?  Did anyone do anything exciting?  Ours was really low key.  Saturday, I went and got my hair done.  I was definitely long overdue.  I had quite a bit of grow out, not so cute!  After that, DH & I went and had lunch, and just bummed around the mall for a bit.  Sunday, we had plans to meet up with a friend who was in town for the day, but she ended up not being able to meet up.  So we stayed home all day.  I did tons of laundry, baked chocolate chip cookies, read my book & caught up on a bunch of shows we had dvr'd.  Way to take advantage of the crap-tastic weather yesterday, huh? :)

Anything going on this week?  Tonight's month end for me at work, so I'll be here pretty late.  Fun times!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Re: Good morning ladies!

  • Good Morning, my weekend kind of sucked but not too bad. Saturday I went to donate some blood at the United Blood Services, glad they didn't bruise me like last time. Then I had breakfast with my dad, he gave blood too. I hung out at my parents and then my dad took me to the Arizona Humane Society , I wanted a cat but the fee was way more then what I had, maybe next time.

Sunday-I did some laundry and I made some yummy Red Velvet Cake Balls that everyone at work loves. I watched the USA/Canada game and that is pretty much it for Sunday. I loved the weather yesterday.

This week we have a Coyotes game to go to tomorrow and on Thursday and then the Dodgers/White Sox game on Saturday, so three lovely trips out to he west side, I am in Chandler and it's a long one.

  • We had a good weekend!  Friday night we planned on staying home, but ran out to get frozen yogurt and DH decided he wanted to see a friend's new hot rod, so we ended up there until late.  Saturday we yard work, started building a small retaining wall in the front yard.  That night we went to dinner on Mill, rode the light rail downtown and saw Gravity Slashers (aka freestyle moto cross), then went back to Mill to party.  Yesterday we layed around hungover until the rain stopped, then we finished the retaining wall.  So, it was a fun AND productive weekend-- we don't get too many of those!  :)

  • Good morning!  I had a good weekend.  Friday night we went to happy hour, then out with some friends.  Saturday I met a friend who was in town visiting for lunch and we did some shopping (not that I really needed to, I'm a shopaholic!).  Sunday I spent the afternoon with my mom and sister, we went for pedicures and frozen yogurt, then did some errands.  Then DH and I had dinner at my parents house.  My mom is turning my old room into a guest room so they sent us with tons of my old stuff from high school and college - which is fun to look at but what am I really going to do with it all?!  Anyways, it was a good weekend and now I'm sad to be back to work!

  • Morning girls!   Our weekend was very busy, like every other weekend!

Saturday I woke up and immediately applied the top coat to our venetian plaster accent wall.  Then we cleaned out the garage, and started unpacking our dishes into our newly installed cabinets! Yay!!!  We also made a trip down to The Great Indoors, only to find that the kitchen sink faucet we were looking for wasn't on sale until Sunday... And our Saturday ended with dinner at my parents and family game night.

On Sunday, I woke up extra early to bake with my mom, for my sisters sweet sixteen birthday party next Saturday.  Due to the pouring rain our granite appointment got moved to next Sunday, so I was able to meet up with Jillian earlier than expected.  We had our first coffee date, and it was really nice to meet another nestie!  When that ended, I rushed back to my parent's house to do some more baking.   Sunday ended with outlining my accounting notes and finishing up the laundry.

Overall, I'm still utterly exhausted.  Its like I just never stop, so when most people return to work Monday morning totally rejuvenated, I'm totally stressed out.  One of these days I'm going to implode.

Hope all is well with everyone else!  I'm looking forward to the Nestie dinner this Friday!

Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
  • Saturday was spent listening to grumpy SO on phone with clients and playing with baby. A lot of grocery shopping. Then we had a yummy dinner (Tandoori chicken, basmati rice and cauliflower) and watched the newest Saw movie in bed.

Sunday started off horribly. I was up ALL night, slept maybe a total of 2 hours, with baby. Then went grocery shopping yet again. Coffee date with Taylor (which was great, she's fantastic :) ). After that I came home relaxed for a few, then off to Gilbert to one of SO's coworkers house for dinner and drinks. hung out there for a while just chit chatting. Then we came home and watched Paranormal Activity, which I fell asleep during!

Now it's Monday, back to the same ol' routine!

  • Good afternoon everyone! We had a good weekend. :)  Met up with a friend who was in town on Friday night, had a couple of other friends over for dinner on Saturday, and then Sunday was a big errand-running day. The most exciting part of the weekend (because I'm a dork): we bought our first big baby gear purchase! We got a stroller and car seat travel system. Mike put it together last night, and it's all starting to really seem real now ...  :)

    LOL!

  • friday I went to a friends Silpada jewelry party then met up with DH and went to Gordon Biersch for dinner. Saturday i got up early and went to the scottsdale Hilton and helped to set up the silent auction and stage area and the decor for the Cameo Club black tie ball. We put on this ball to help raise money for charities. this year was Eves place which helps battered women and children. I literally worked all day and all night and yes got to enjoy the ball as well. got home at midnight and went to bed. Sunday i did my regular laundry then went to my moms for her Silpada jewelry party (see a theme) then got my dogs she was dog sitting and took them home. we've been landscaping so i havn't had them at home.

i'm glad i get a normal work week and this next weekend should be more relaxing for me.
