I seriously can't believe February is over...

Anyone have anything cool going on this month?

My big events: submitting my book chapter/article to my editor for the Twilight anthology I was accepted into, hosting a bridal shower, hosting a baby shower, submitting my first complete thesis draft to my committee, being vegetarian for one month (it's part of my 101 list)

DH and I head to Vegas on Saturday! Woohoo! Other than that, I'm hoping the month is ridiculously low-key so hopefully I can recover financially from the disaster I call February.

This is a busy month for us... DH is heading to Cleveland right now for the rest of the week for work, I go to Iowa to throw my sister a bridal shower on Friday for the weekend, then St. Patty's Day and DH's birthday is the 18th.  Then he goes to LA for work the week of the 22nd and we are going to West Virginia for the trip that was supposed to happen last month the last weekend in March and he goes back to Ohio for work the 29th and 30th.  Pretty much, we are never going to be home.

Time just keeps flying on by!

My younger step sister is getting married so we are taking a few days off to go to CA to attend the wedding and visit with family/friends.

I'm becoming a stylist for a jewelry product company this month. I'm super excited about the opportunity.

cant believe its march! its starting to warm up outside!!

I'll be spending this month unpacking from the big move, visiting my dad in the hospital and starting to prioritize our home improvement tasks. I'm also hoping to try out some recipes from a new cookbook i just bought... look at me turning all domestic!

Removing and unpacking, setting up the baby's room, Liberty in stores, and BIL's wedding.  From the details we've seen and heard about BIL's wedding, it should be interesting so say the least.

I'm so glad it's March! Warmer weather is on the way! This month is fairly low-key travel-wise. VERY busy at work trying to get a grant submitted by May and finish writing/submitting 3 more journal articles by the time I take maternity leave (early June). I've been feeling motivated to get things done around the house, so I'm sure I'll keep busy with that. We started painting our bedroom yesterday and plan to finish next weekend, so we feel like we're staying at a hotel by living out of our guest room this week. I have a baby shower in Atlanta the last weekend in March, and that's really the only "fun" activity on the books so far.
