What's your favorite month in Oregon?

I replied to a thread on the travel board and it got me thinking...

Out of everyone that lives here, what's your favorite month?  Why?

~~~~~~
I love March (cause it's my b-day, LOL), springtime is SO pretty here.  I love to see all the trees start to bud, hear the birds again, etc.  My favorite month is June.  I really like walking along the waterfront during Rose Festival.  Gorgeous weather but not too HOT yet.  It stays light until like 9pm.  I also really like the first 2 weeks of October.  It's not really cold yet, usually not rainy, nice mild temps and all the leaves are orange and falling, so pretty.  Generally though, I really love Oregon (especially Portland) all year long.  I think we are so blessed to have a gorgeous state, with lots of wonderful scenery, and great people!
Re: What's your favorite month in Oregon?
  • I don't know!  I haven't lived here long enough to know how the seasons are really supposed to be.
    I generally love the days where it's about 60* and sunny out.  I prefer the days that pour instead of just drizzling.  I love zipping down Brookwood and Evergreen with the top down and the radio blasting in the fall when it's sunny and cool out.  : )
  • Too soon for me to tell :( We've been here since June 30th and let me just say that  the weather here is SOOO mild...but I know this winter wasn't typical...or so I've been told :) I'm really excited for Spring/Summer in Oregon...I think it's going to be GORGEOUS. I can't wait. I'm loving that February already felt like Spring while back in MI they're still dealing with inches/feet of snow!
  • July because it's my birthday month and also craft beer month with beer festivals galore.  Coincidence? I think not. :)  Oh and it's sunny every day in July usually.
  • I can't believe I've been here a year this month!  It's so hard to pick a month here, Spring Summer and Fall were all so beautiful in different ways, and Winter was well Winter which is awesome because that's something I was missing out on in California.  I think based on this year alone I would have to pick September, it was still sunny and mild and gorgeous the rain hadn't kicked in yet and it was the perfect blend of end of summer and beginning of Fall!
  • I enjoy spring the best here. Its green, and animals are out.  I guess May is my fav (also my birth month). April showers brings May flowers :-)
    I dont like the summer. it's too hot. I'll take any form of rain over sun and heat any day.
  • June....just starting to warm up but not too hot.  You can tell I have lived her forever since I think anything over 82 is too hot!
  • I really enjoy July and August and the first two weeks of September. I LOVE the warm weather. I love sitting on the back patio drinking beer while the husband plays the guitar, then watch the sunset, and stars come into sight. I like going for a run in the evening around 7pm or so while it's still light and knowing that when I get up in the morning and rush myself off to work to start my day at 730am, it will belight outside. I personally hate the rain, and any season that is wet. I don't like feeling depressed when the seasons change to dark and wet. I was born and raised here, but man I don't like the wetness or darkness!
