Concert tonight!
We're going to see John Mayer tonight! Michael Fronte & Spearhead is opening too.
Yes - I know Mayer is a douche in his personal life...
BUT he is a musical/guitar prodigy (I'm not talking about the pop radio stuff...I'm talking about the inspired jazzy stuff that the JM trio does). We saw him 2 years ago too - and it is hilarious when he starts playing his trio stuff and all the teeny boppers who came for the radio music stand there all confused!
Anywho...DH really likes his music - and since I never seem to feel very strongly about our concert choices (and the fvcking GooGooDolls never come to town when I am around), we usually go see one of his fav's each year (last year was the Police).

Have fun! I saw John Mayer a couple years ago. He puts on a good show.
Random story - DH ran into John Mayer in a music store in Houston years ago. He had played a concert the night before which DH went to. DH said "That was a good show last night John" to which John Mayer replied, "Yeah man, it felt good."
I bet it will be a great concert. I heard an ad for this concert on the radio the other day and considered buying tickets.

Yes JM is a douche, but I DROOL over him. I hear from a friend who saw him last week that his body is majorly buffed since the last time I saw him. She said he took off his shirt and her jaw dropped. ENJOY!!!
