my garden plans!
We have a very small yard but, I went crazy on seeds this year. I have dozens of packets of unusual flowers and veggies. Here's some of what I have so far:

I believe she ordered from HighMowingSeeds.com, and I recognize the first one as being listed under lettuce or califlower.
I ordered scallopini squash from there, along with a hybrid eggplant- I purposely picked things that I couldn't get at the store. I think it's a fantastic plan. What else are you planting? I can't wait to see pics.
I've been getting them here and there..Park Seeds, ebay, Walmart, Lowes. If you hover with your mouse you'll see the names of each one. I always search "heirloom seeds" or "unusual seeds" and find some neat stuff

How fun. You'll have the most interesting garden of anyone.
We did an organic food pickup that had purple carrots. People were so surprised to see a mix of purple, orange, yellow and white carrots.
Be careful with the chinese lanterns (if that's what the purple puffs are). I heard that they spread like crazy.
Keep us posted. I love stuff like this.
