DH and I just moved back to Orlando (we went to UCF and then moved for DH to go to law school) and we are living downtown. I am trying to figure some things to do this weekend that don't cost anything. So far I am thinking the farmers market in either Winter Park or Lake Eola, walking around the different lakes that are nearby, and maybe going to see how much UCF has changed in the last three years. Does anyone know of anything else that is going on that is free? Our goal is to spend minimum money. We would like to try to stay close to downtown, to keep out of the car as much as we can, but I can flexible.
TIA!
Re: Hi Nesties!
I don't know of anything going on, but just wanted to say welcome back to Orlando!
Did you end up going to UCF? You are going to be SHOCKED. I graduated in 2005 also, and I am shocked every time I go back there. Come check in after you do and let us know what you think about the changes.
Welcome back!
We didn't make it over to UCF, but I can't wait to see the new stadium. I think we are going to get season tickets!
Thanks for the welcome back! Glad to be back in FL, even during the storm season!
