Dr. Appt Update
I had an appointment yesterday, she is definitely keeping me on bedrest until 37 weeks. I am now between 50-60% effaced, but staying at the same dilation. I am still measuring much smaller than average, so today I had an ultrasound to make sure baby is growing okay.
According to the u/s everything with the baby is great. Average size, good heartbeat, and the head is way down. They did see lots of hair on the back of baby's head. As soon as they said there was lots of hair, my first thought was that the baby is a girl. Completely illogical, but I am now leaning towards girl. I will stick with that. Oh, and they say baby is about 5lbs 12 oz - so we'll see.
They told me I should be looking forward to a March baby now, and that I will probably never see that April due date for this baby. They would prefer that everything keeps going for two mores weeks, but at this point things will be fine. So we'll see. My baby has received its first official mommy warning, s/he is not to be born until BabyShoe makes his/her appearance.
