Hello hosting an outdoor birthday party at the park and looking for yummy sandwich ideas that are served cold and that I can make ahead of time...

Proscuitto and Alpine Lace cheese
Roasted chicken and raspberry preserves as a spread (surprisingly good)
sliced beef tenderloin with a horseradish sauce - I serve these open-faced at room temperature on sliced and toasted french bread. Top with the sauce just before serving.
horseradish sauce:
8 oz. sour cream or creme fraiche
6 tbsp horseradish, drained
1/4 cup fresh chopped chives
salt/pepper to taste
MIx ingredients and chill for a few hours until ready to serve.
Exactly what I was thinking.
I'm also a big fan of raspberry preserves on turkey! Yum!
Call me crazy, but I love PB and J!
But for fancier, I love cucumber sandwiches and brie and apple.
