Sorry I need to make a paint related correction!
The paint we used in our bathroom and hated was not Benjamin Moore, it was Behr. I knew it didn't sound right when I was typing it, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then DH & I went to Home Depot last night and I was like "Holy hell it was Behr!" and DH laughed at me & said "everyone probably thought you were crazy since Benjamin Moore is really expensive paint."
Oh and maybe I looked at new Glidden colors and picked out how I want our 2nd bedroom aka The Future Nursery painted.
Someone stop me.
Re: ::Alison P::
Yeah Behr is terrible! We went with it because we wanted to paint our bathroom a kind of buttery yellow color. Almost white, but not quite. Behr had a ton of different yellows to choose from (Glidden doesn't) and figured how bad could it be? It's Behr! It was awful.
After so much success and happiness with Glidden we are Glidden 4 Life! lol.
I don't even want to try anything else now.
LMAO! I have promised myself to stay far far away from the spare bedroom!! Hahahahaaha!
I'm terrible with paint brands. I know nothing. I've never even heard of Benjamin Moore! LOL!
But from what I do know....we had already decided to use Sherwin Williams paint. DH's uncle is a professional painter and swears by the stuff! He absolutely HATES Behr!! He told us to never ever use it.
My Planning Bio! Married Photos! My Blog!
I am jumping in only because I have to share - we use nothing BUT Behr! My family, DH's family. . . . you should see us when they have their sales! Apparently we are not so fortunate to have access to nice paint in rural Mn, that is as best we can get! I will dream of having nicer paint someday. . . . . LOL
But to be serious, I have only ever used Dutch Boy and Behr. We do have Sherwin Wiliams, I guess I just have never considered going there. But with your ladies opinions I will be now looking around!
