April Disney Weather

Hi all, I will be taking my son to Disney World in early-mid April for his second birthday. We're coming from Oklahoma, so I have no idea on the weather. What type of clothes should I pack? I feel like we'll be bringing his whole closet!

Well it's been unseasonably cold here recently but I think by April we will be back to normal.  I think you will be fine with shorts/flip flops/tank tops during the day because it will more than likely be in the 80's by then.  Even sundresses for the evening is fine too.

My birthday is mid-April, and by that point the weather is typically hot and humid! But as the pp pointed out, we've been unseasonably cold for months now. Definitely check the 10 day forecast just prior to your trip.

I just heard a meteorologist say they are expecting these little cool fronts through April. I assume you aren't packing yet so when the time gets closer check out weather.com 10 day forecast so you can have a better idea. The weather can change by the hour here in Florida!

Thanks, I've been to Disney in July, October, and December, so this time of the year is a new one. I hope it warms up! We've gotten a record amount of snow here, so I'm looking forward to sunshine!

Check weather.com a few days before you travel.  Traditionally, it's "warm" on April but weather has been crazy for everyone this year.
