About being paper towel free

Is there any way to get oil stains out of cloth napkins? Should I rinse them immediatly after use to prevent staining? I'm new to cloth napkins and need some help.

  • if you mean food oils (like olive oil), there is. you can use dishsoap on the stain, rub it in really well, then rinse it in white vinegar, then wash them like normal. i often forget to wear an apron while cooking and end up with grease stains on my tops and this always works.

  • I spray with Shout and wash and it usually comes out.  Not very green I know, but I don't do it for napkins (ours are stained, we don't care), just nice clothes.
