Hey ladies-
As some of you know I used to be a strength coach at ASU, well now that I'm a stay at home mom I'm looking for a cheap gym membership.
Or even better a place where I could teach spinning or strength training classes instead of paying for a gym membership.
Ugh unfortunately my spin cert has lapsed so I'm wondering if I can find a place that will hire me without it...I've been teaching for 6 years!
I NEED to start lifting again I'm 14 lbs UNDER my pre-pregnancy weight I need some of my muscle back!
Anyone know a place or can put in a good word for me to get hired/or has a cheap membership since I don't have a lot of spare cash?
Thanks!
Re: Gym recommendations
The North Phoenix Baptist Church on Central and Bethany Home Is suuuuuper cheap, and you dont have to be a member of the church or even that religon (Dh and I used to go to the gym, not the church)
Its pretty impressive. They even have an indoor track and rollerskating rink! Though its an extra $2 each visit if you want to rollerskate.
They also have classes like yoga and all that jazz
I know they give discounts to families that join or it was like $60 for like 4 months (its been a while since weve renewed)
here's their number if you want to call for more info 602-707-5903
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
I don't know how convenient it is for you, but I work out at Tumbleweed Rec Center in Chandler. It's $30 a mo. for residents, $38 for non-residents. There's no initial fees and it's month to month membership.

If this is too far, I would check out the city of Mesa or Tempe and see what they offer.
