Pet Safe Lawn Care Products?

Since DH and I didn't have a dog this time last year, we didn't worry about what we put on our yard. Now that we have Tera, we want to make sure we don't use anything that could harm her.

Do you know of any pet safe:

Grass seed

Yard Fertilizer

And other things of the sort? I'm looking around online, but wanted to know if you ladies use anything in particular that you like, or have had bad experiences with.

TIA! I'm thinking something organic would be pet friendly??

Re: Pet Safe Lawn Care Products?

  • I don't know about grass seed, but don't use conventional fertilizer... use coffee grounds, leave the clipping in the grass to mulch down or make your own compost.

Here's an article from the NYT.
