Beetle question

Does anyone else have those Asian lady bug lookalike beetles? We always have them if it gets warm in late fall or the first time it's warm in spring, but i guess since our house is so old and drafty they're getting inside a LOT more than I've ever experienced before. I've already killed 11 today and I can see 7 on the INSIDE of my window from where I'm sitting. Please someone tell me how to get rid of them or keep them away?

I just don't want to use a whole lot of pesticide or do anything inhumane (I may have yelled at BIL for using this weird bag collecting thing that attracted them and suffocated them, although now that's looking pretty good), and I don't want to spend too much money.

Re: Beetle question

  • I was against using the pesticides as well until there were 30 on the side of my house trying to get in.  I could not stand it - they are so gross!  So I bought pesticide from Home Depot it comes in a big blue pump bottle (do not recall the name).  I closed all windows and sprayed around my whole house.  I do not think it killed any but it kept them away.
