Rec your favorite spa

Since I can't visit DH for my birthday Crying he's sending me to the spa for the day.

What spa do you girls rec and what treatments should I get?  I don't need a body massage as I get those for free...

Re: Rec your favorite spa

  • I haven't used their spa, but my salon is a salon and spa and that's where I would go if I was getting a spa day.  It's an Aveda salon and spa it's in Hillsboro/Tansabourne it's across the street from Streets of Tanasbourne and in the same shopping center as Whole Foods.  It's New Beginnings Salon and Spa I think their website is www.nbsalonspa.com.  It's not too far away, easy parking and you could always hit up Streets of Tansabourne for lunch/dinner and some shopping when you were done!

  • Bummer you can't see DH on your bday but it's nice he's sending you to a spa!!

No recs because I have not yet been to a spa here.

On a semi-related note --is there still going to be a nestie pedicure date?

I think so.  Hopefully in early-mid April.  We should probably start planning that...

  • I have a couple favorites, both of which are on the holistic/natural end of the spectrum. The Dragontree Spa on NW Thurman and 26ish is great. I've gotten multiple facials here and find the services and the staff really great. I also like Spa Willamina on NE 43rd. They too have great facials. Facials tend to be the thing I go to the spa for so I don't have any recs for services beyond that. That being said, The Dragontree is a large facility and they offer everything from acupuncture to pedicures.
