Good Morning
Did anyone do anything super fun this weekend since it was so nice?
I heard on the radio this morning that we might hit the 60's today.
We went to cow town for the first time this weekend with a friend and it was an interesting experience. I don't think I will ever go again.
We also went out to dinner Saturday night with friends and saw Alice in Wonderland. It was AMAZING!
On Sunday we took Oscar to the dog park where some btch attacked him. The story is in my blog.

We didn't do anything super fun, but it was a nice weekend in general. I went crazy with cleaning bc I hate nothing more than coming home from vacation to a messy/dirty house. Hopefully the house will stay somewhat clean while H's bro stays there.
I have never been to Cow Town.. and I wouldn't mind keeping it that way, but my H aims to make it a goal in his life to get me there.
I'm glad Oscar's ok now.. I hate irresponsible dog owners!
Oh I also rented the rug doctor on Friday night and cleaned all my carpet and furniture. I even cleaned the toilet seat covers!
The carpet looks AMAZING. It's still ugly but looks brand new. Also the nastiness of the water after I cleaned my couches grossed me out something fierce. The hoover just isn't enough!
I plan on renting one twice a year now.
We had a busy, busy weekend at the shop and it was great. I had to attach Jack to me, but he brings a smile to everyone's face, so it works out.
H just called me and said "Do you know you lost your wallet?" I immediately knew it fell out of the stroller when I put it away last night after we closed. Thank goodness, one of the other shop employees picked it up and brought it to the shop today. I would have had no clue, until I went to use it. She is getting a visit today with a special gift.
We rented the rug doctor a few times and I eventually bought us a carpet cleaner from Amazon. I love it. Unfortunatly, my basset hound ate our brand new carpet and we put down hardwood floors.

That is bs about the dog park. I would have been pissed. I had a dog issue this weekend also. I put both dogs out on their ropes in the front of the house on Sat. morning and went about doing some things. I look out to see what trouble they have gotten into and see a car pulled over and people out and petting the dogs. I go outside and the family seems startled by me. I didn't really know what to say. The lady all flustered asked what kind of dog my basset was. I answered her, but wasn't being friendly at all. The man then asked me if the dogs were for sale because their daughter really likes them and he would take both. WTF?? They are tied up to play, not for sale. I said no, but could put them in contact with Molly's breeder. They said no thanks and left. I brought the dogs right in and took down their license plate. I was freaked out by it. I could see stopping to pet dogs if you are walking, but to pull your car over? I didn't want to leave the dogs home after that since they have a dog door to get outside and feared the weirdos would come back and steal them. I could have overreacted, but I wasn't risking it and took them to my dad's house.
Morning! We had a busy weekend. Saturday we went to the mall - I bought myself a new Coach purse, and got my mom one for her bday. I had 25% off, so I took advantage!
Saturday night we went to Beerfest at the Navy Yard. It was OK - a little too crowded for my liking. H enjoyed it, though. We went to Chickie's beforehand - I enjoyed that!
I get to leave early for a dentist appt today - at least I get some time outside, but wish it wasn't for the dentist!
Aw, I love Cowtown. You can't expect much, but there are a few vendors with awesome deals. One lady has all JCrew and Banana clothes (along with North Face, etc.) and the breakfast at the little restaurant is awesome. My H hates it, but I don't care. My mom and I used to go every week in the summer to get our produce.
Deanna, I don't blame you for bringing the dogs in right away. That is creepy. I've had people ask if they could breed with my pup, but never if they could buy him. Ew.
We went to MD to hang with the ILs and went to a "pic n paint" place where my 2 yo niece got to pick out a piece of pottery and paint it. It was really fun, even though she's a little young to really get it or care past an hour's worth of painting.
Friday we took Chase out to eat with us for the first time. We went to Pei Wei.
Saturdays go by too quickly because every week H plays hockey and then I go to the chiropractor. That eats up most of the day.
Sunday we enjoyed the sunshine at H's softball practice. I really love living right next to the ball field. I popped Chase in the Ergo and we spent a couple of hours enjoying the sun and breeze.
btw... I planned to get our carpets cleaned in the very near future. After Lily's experience I'm thinking I should rent and do it myself. However I don't feel like it! I just want it done for me. Boo hoo.
