St. Lucia

Hey ladies,

I remember when I first started posting that a lot of us all went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon. I happen to go the Sandals route but I remember other went to another all inclusive resort and LOVED it. A friend of mine is thinking of going to St. Lucia for her honeymoon and wanted to know all her options and for the life of me I couldn't remember the name of the resort...I kept saying Tiki something LOL.

Let me know where in St. Lucia you went please :)

 Thank you!!

I miss you guys! Geeked

Re: St. Lucia

  • Myself and SRCain *who rarely posts here any more* both went to St. Lucia on our honeymoons, and we both stayed at Ti Kaye (which seems to be the resort your thinking of). You can read my whole honeymoon review in my "married bio" (siggy link below).

You can buy an all inclusive option at Ti Kaye, but I don't know if I'd recommend it. My husband and I are adventurous people and we were constantly on the go away from the village most days... so an all inclusive would not have made sense for us. Plus it allowed us to try other restaurants on the island and really immerse ourselves into the culture! The breakfast buffet was AWESOME but lunch and dinner were ok.... best night was the St. Lucian buffet!

Feel free to pick my brain if your friend has any questions!

  • We also went to Tikaye for a week of our honeymoon and Ladera for the other 3 days!  I would highly recommend Tikaye & Plan to go back there soon!  For Ladera the view is incredible as well as the resort it's self but if you don't like open air rooms and bugs I wouldn't recommend it.  Also when booking get a BIG room!  It's really hard to explain our expierence but if were were to go back we would only stay at Tikaye & go to Dinner at Ladera for the views!

Also the people at Tikaye are AMAZING!

  • We stayed at the Windjammer and loved it!  They have an all inclusive plan there as well.  I can't remember what we paid for it all and we got a discount because our friend's uncle actually runs the place but I want to say full price is still pretty affordable there!  It's a great resort!!

wow--very interesting take on Ladera.... We were suppose to stay there for a week, but at the last minute had to change plans since funds were dwindling! We did go to Ladera to watch the sun set and eat dinner--it was awesome and very breath taking! We are hoping to go back to St. Lucia for our 10th anniversary... I want to go to Tahiti for our 5th! lol...

  • Awesome! Thanks girls! Geeked
