Ipod Touch....worth it?

DH and I are thinking about each getting an Ipod Touch since we have such a long commutes for listening to audio books and music, etc.

Are they worth the money?

Re: Ipod Touch....worth it?

  • I love my touch! I have a 1st gen 8GB and would only part with it if I upgraded to the phone. I like having the music I want right there and the touch has been helpful to me with keeping TO DO list, Grocery shopping, tracking spending and more.

I don't see how you could go wrong with it.

  • I would do it if it weren't for the fact that i have a droid phone and that does everything the touch would do for me.  I seriously considered doing the touch for calendar, todo lists, itunes, etc, but I can do everything (aside from itunes) on my cell phone and that means one less thing to carry for me anyway.
  • I have a 2nd generation 16GB iPod touch, and I really like it.  I am a Verizon customer who carries a BlackBerry, and I am not interested in an iPhone, but the iPod does a lot of what the iPhone does.  I have some fun apps, and I also like being able to watch videos/TV shows on it.  And it's nice to have enough memory to keep my entire iTunes library on hand!
