Babies coming tomorrow-- how to fill out birth certs?

Just a quick post since we are on our way out the door to get my pre-op bloodwork done. We are scheduled for a c-section tomorrow morning (YIKES!). I can't believe the time is almost here!!

I am wondering how we are supposed to fill out the birth certificates. Do I assume correctly that we should leave the "father" space blank? I'm tempted to put S's information in there, but I don't want to mess anything up for our future second-parent adoptions. I have an email in to the lawyer who is doing our second-parent adoptions, but just in case I don't hear back, I thought I'd gather the collective nestie wisdom. Smile We live and are giving birth in MD, in case it matters, and are not legally married anywhere.

Thank you all so much for all your kind words and support over these past many months. We appreciate you all more than you know.
