Interesting place for a baby shower
Hi Ladies, I'm jumping over from The Bump to ask for any suggestions on places for a baby shower. I'm helping my sister plan, since she's in CA. we are looking for a unique, tea room, loungey, simple, classy type of place that is also not too expensive. I live in the middle of nassau as do most of the guests so that would be best.
Thanks everyone!

I know this is in Suffolk, but it is exactly what you described.

I did a little google search and came up with this website http://eastofnyc.typepad.com/thebuzz/
it helps you find a place in your area with whatever features you want. I dont know your exact location so I just searched for stuff with a "lounge" and some pretty cool places came up. Give it a try and good luck!
I had my bridal shower at Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City. It's not loungey but it's very classy and the food is fantastic! The bakery next door made the cake which was delicious!
