Doctor in Hartford area?

My husband and I just moved to Manchester. I needed to go to the doctor last week, and I called just about every PCP within 20 miles- none of them are taking new patients until at least October.

Since it takes so long to get a new doctor, I'm going to go ahead and make a new patient appt. for October- any recommendations? Just my husband and I- I'd prefer a woman doctor- he'd prefer a man.

Re: Doctor in Hartford area?

  • If possible, avoid Manchester Medical.  They're staffing is really bad, and the wait is ridiculous.

  • I go to the hartford medical group in manchester on north main street.  I don't think my dr is taking new patients.  But my mom sees dr shuck (not sure if that is how you spell it)   and she is good.  I do not recomend Guanco he never helped me when I had to see him when my dr wasn't in office. not sure about the others.

  • Hi~ Dr Judy Mascolo is in West Hartford. She is wonderful.  She runs her own practice, though, so there wouldn't be a male doc there. Dr Mascolo is wonderful, I have had a great experience with her!

  • DH and I go to Cromwell Family Practice - Dr. Jonathan Seigel and Dr. Marta Kroo.

    We love both.
