What is going on with this gorgeous man, Ben R. of the steelers? Its like he is on someone's hit list to make trouble for this man.
Doctor Title Is Closer

Re: Big Ben
Yeahhhh, this. Gorgeous does not come to mind when I think of Big Ben, haha.
And in response to the original question - no clue what is going on with him. I don't think someone is out to get him though.
this is what I think of when I hear his name: remember Grape Ape?
this post is about an alleged sexual assault and he isn't suppose to take any gruff for that
and indeed beauty is in the eye of the beholder, hence why it's ok for me to think he looks like grape ape and for you to think he is gorgeous
Ugh. I am a Steelers fan and am frustrated with Big Ben and losing respect. I thought that the Lake Tahoe allegations last summer were bogus, but I'm not so sure about the current allegations. You'd think that after last summer's debacle, he would have learned his lesson and stayed out of situations where he may get himself into trouble.
I realize that Ben has a house on Lake Oconee, but that is 30 miles from Milledgeville. A 28-year-old NFL star should not be hanging out at bars in a sleepy college town. He's just asking for trouble. And I'm not convinced that he's innocent this time, but we'll see.
Now I ain't sayin' she a gold digger...
Seriously though, he should know better than to be putting himself in these situations. Especially after that hobag came out of the woodwork last summer!
What upsets me more than his stupidity is the women/woman (either the first one, or both of them) who go around making false claims of rape and sexual assault.
It's impossible to know what happened without facts. I'm reserving judgment of whether someone is "out to get that gorgeous man" until the investigation is completed, charges are or are not filed leading to a trial or plea, and the result of said trial or plea.
This X10.
I think he's cute...but also an idiot. As pp said, it's not OK for a 28-year-old NFL star to hang out at bars in a sleepy college town. The first time around, I think it was bogus. This time, though...I don't think so.
What, do all these athletes think they're invincible and can do what they want because they're superstars? Even if nothing comes of this, I hope he learns his lessons and sticks to football instead of getting himself thrown into situations he may not be able to get out of.
Fat chance. Last summer's shenanigans would have been an eye-opener for any conscientious person.
This.
I'm a lifelong Steelers fans myself (since Ben was in grade school) but I have to agree with the PP's. BR is not exactly known for showing good judgement and I'm not convinced he's innocent this time, either.
IMO, he's been at God status for so long in Pittsburgh that it's gone to his big rectangular head.
