Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. I have a walker! She is so cute to watch toddling around the room.
2. My job was making me batty last night. The ER was a madhouse, then the patients that were getting pissy at having to wait to be treated were the adults with sore throats wanting a strep test at 2 am. Sorry but the cardiac arrest and the 80 year old who can't breathe are priority over you. Vent over thanks.
3. Annie took a good tumble and has a bruised cheek. She looks like quite the little toughy now.
4. I finally caught up with my dad on Skype for the first time since his heart attack. I talk to him a ton on the phone, but being able to actually see him made me feel a ton better.
5. I have my first box of girl scout cookies for the year and after eating three I am done with them. I can bake much better cookies for less money.
6. This weekend we are marching in our St Patricks Day parade. It will be Annies first and she has her little Irish sweater and kilt all ready. I will be decorating her stroller on Friday to have her all ready.
7. I have been having these wierd wandering daydreams about shopping in a store back home that has been out of business for years that I never actually bought anything in. But I think it enters my mind many times a day at random times.
8. My daughter has her first love. Cookie Monster. I created a monster ( hee hee a blue furry one) when I was sick by letting her watch sesame street. I actually DVRed an episode and when I need 5 minutes I will let her watch it. Cookie makes her belly laugh in the loudest way. It makes me laugh.
9. I still haven't done my taxes. I don't know why I keep procrastinating and I don't know why.
10. I actually got to type out all 10 with Annie happily playing with my toes and not unplugging the cord to the laptop!

1. Have I mentioned this last month of work is crazy!?!
2. All morning I've thought of Christine and Sylvia. I can't wait to hear about their bundles of joy.
3. Christine was only 6 days farther along in her pregnancy than I. I know twins don't gestate as long but being next up for labor is exciting/scary/awesome.
4. My dog has made a major breakthrough with one of the kids she works with. It's incredible to watch!
5. I think I'm getting sick. 36 weeks pregnant + sick =/= a good thing
6. I'm craving Sunny D - how random is that?
7. My boss totally messed something up and I think I'm the one that's going to get screwed over by his mistake.
8. K is being considered for a job that would take her to Afghanistan or Iraq.
9. There is no convenience store within 10 minutes of my work. I really want juice right now but I'd have to take at least 30 minutes to drive somewhere and get back.
10. I called two pediatricians yesterday - yay for a bit of progress!
1. Yesterday was our 7 year wedding anniversary. L forgot. I called and wished her a happy anniversary on my way to work and she called at 1pm saying she was going home because she didn't feel well. So I took the boys to Bob Evans for my anniversary dinner while L slept at home.
2. I need to leave here at 1:30 to go to the eye doctor. I am not coming back! Yay for a short day. But I still have to hang out till 4:30 to get the kids (they would be so bummed if I got them before they went to the playground.)
3. I think I am going to take the kids out to dinner again. I am really craving a burger and I have a coupon for a free kids meal.
4. It is amazing how much easier bed time is when the kids get outside to play for a couple hours each day.
5. I am so excited for C&S today. I can't wait to hear how it went. I would LOVE to go back and relive the day the boys were born.
6. Carter fell again this morning and now has a huge bruise on the side of his face. It goes well with the 3 inch circle bruise (complete with red road rash) on his forehead, his scratched nose, and his scrapped lip. He looks like a mess. School pictures are tomorrow. Lovely.
7. I just ordered reaplacement batteries for the boys/my iPods. I hope I am talented enough to do the replacement. The website says it is easy. I hope so. We can't replace them and we need them for our flights to my ILs next month.
8. I LOVE just having to put fleece coats on the kids in the morning. Wrestling them into their heavy coats/hat/mittens/scarves is for the birds. I will be even happier when there are NO coats and they can put their Crocs on themselves (their new sneakers are stiff and dificult to get on.)
9. I am planning our summer vacation for the mountains in MD. I wanted to go to the White Mountains in NH - but couldn't justify the $800 in airfare right now in addition to renting a house. I am excited - we've only been on vacation 1x that didn't involve family and it was a clusterf*&@. Taking two 14m old kids to Providence is not a vacation.
10. I think I am going to get some work done and then get some lunch. I never got breakfast and I am STARVING.
1) Yesterday was another no-show visit. mostly sad/mad, but also a touch happy (reprieve from behavior lapse!).
2) even feeling a tiny bit happy makes me feel guilty.
3) a friend gave us a sit n stand stroller. super exciting b/c we can now go for long walks together - lilly included!
4) sprout's first dentist appointment this evening. please wish us luck, i think we'll need it.
5) medical insurance for foster children is a big cluster f%$&. it shoudl be the least of our worries, but its a nightmare.
6) I have to run home in a little bit...which means i can stop anywhere for lunch...hmmm, decisions, decisions
7) Sprout is so unpredictible at dinner time. One night he'll love something, the next night he decides he hates it. Sometimes he eats a ton, other nights he'll have two bites and be done. The second i think I've got him pegged and he goes and changes.
8) i cant decide if we should attempt a st patty's day parade...it could really go either way
9) I finally went back to WW after months of being gone and i had actually lost weight. i was shocked. apparently chasing after two kids is more activity than i thought :P
10) i also cant wait to hear all about S & C's babies!

Sprout's been falling a lot lately too. We're thinking its a growth spurt.
Also, i had to chuckle at the fact that we both used clusterF in our TTT. hehe

1. I still need a new job.
2. There are so many babies being born here and I need to remember to check the bump board more often for updates!
3. I am kind of jealous.
4. We're listing our house next week I think.
5. I skinned BOTH of my knees this weekend, running, and look ridiculous.
6. Rugby starts tonight. At least then I cna look ridiculous and have an excuse.
7. I like my college kids better than my real team.
8. I am sorta sad we never made real friends in Phila.
9. I just ate a giant dressing soaked salad for lunch. And it was good.
10. Giving up soda = not going well.
1. I too thought my Girl Scout cookies tasted weird and way too sweet.
2. S and I have promised to start spending more time together. Just the two of us.
3. I am never satisfied with parties I throw.
4. I have a tremendous desire to craft and create something but can't seem to get started.
5. I am painfully tired all of the time. I am kind of worried something is not right but can't take the time to have it checked out.
6. We need a bigger house. So. Much. Stuff. Babycrapapalooza!
7. I am so proud of LMC's manners. She said thank you to our server last night and he looked shocked :-)

10.I am so lucky to have family and friends who love our girls so much!
1. Finals week and a class presentation are upping my stress levels.
2. Writing my thesis feels both great and overwhelming.
3. I'm ooking forward to interviewing participants about being in mixed-race LGBTQ families over the next 3 weeks.
4. I'm really looking forward to our trip to the Oregon coast this weekend. It's supposed to rain the whole time we're there, but we'll have an ocean view, a nice bed, a kitchenette and each other. What more could I want?
5. I talked to my OB and at my request she ordered FSH and prolactin labs. Tomorrow is CD3 so it will be nice to get the results quickly.
6. Still not sure when we're going to start ttc again. Maybe April? Maybe July?
7. I'm coordinating a bunch of events for the doula org board I'm on and the Maybe Baby group I co-coordinate. I hope they're all successful.
8. I can't believe I haven't blogged since we moved.
9. Or had a housewarming party yet...tentatively scheduled for March 20th. Need to get invites out soon if we're really going to do it.
10. We may be going to visit BIL, SIL, MIL and niece in 3 weeks. Exciting but also a big trip on top of everything else.
