SPRING...
The good-Lorelai cleaned out the front yard the other day and found teeny tiny little green nubs! AKA-her tiger lilies or her daffodils! Lorelai thought they looked like diamonds underneath all of that sludge of leaves, etc!
The bad-Lorelai is drinking some -not so great-coffee...
The ugly-Spring is where it's at! Lorelai needs to get more motivated and workout to a higher intensity. Spring also means she needs to get back on her cycle and get her license this year! GAH!
Good- Lauren is hopeful about this week and keeping her fingers crossed that everything works out. Lauren is also looking forward to having alone time this weekend (DH is going OOT for a bach party).
Bad- Lauren doesn't like how bugs are now appearing due to the warm weather.
Ugly- Lauren is pissed about work. Like,
The Good - Kim is very excited for Spring! She was so excited it broke 50 here yesterday! Kim is also glad she will have more daylight after work to walk the dogs.
The Bad - Kim is bummed that Daylight saving time falls over the St. Patty's day weekend. That hour lost will surely effect her hangover recovery time.
The Ugly - Kim found out yesterday that they're not taking away Spring break because of snow day but they are extending the school year by 4 days. It's going to be June 24th before Kim is done with school/work.
Lorelai feels for Kim... Lorelai can't understand why they wouldn't take away Spring Break... makes NO sense! Lorelai wonders if her skids will have a longer school year... hmmm...., but knows they're going away in June and that would mess up their vaca... (not with Lorelai)
good - Kristy went for a run on sunday! She did surprisingly well considering she hasn't done that in a while
bad - Kristy locked herself out during said run and had to wait for DH to come home! Only an hour, so she took a few extra walking laps, then waited in the foyer for him
ugly - Kristy is pretty sure she didn't get the job she interviewed for, even though it went so well. She's going to email them today to see what's up. *sigh*
Kim thinks the reason is that they waited to long to make a decision and many parents as well as teachers already have vacations booked for that week. However Kim doesn't have a vacation planned so it still screws her. Kim hope Lorelai's skids don't have to do the same thing!
Boo! Jenny is sad to hear that, and hopes that the Kristy gets a better response than she is expecting!
The good: Jenny brought home some more empty boxes from work last night, which finally motivated N to start helping Jenny sort through things and get the packing started!
The bad: Jenny has to spend her weekend at her MIL's, helping her move to a new apartment. Jenny feels this is a big, fat waste of one of her last weekends in SoCal, and can think of a zillion things she'd rather be doing. Plus, it's going to cost Jenny and N close to $200 to help her, between gas, hotel, and eating out. Jenny is bitter about that.
The ugly: Jenny is really starting to have short-timer's syndrome, and is having a very hard time staying motivated at work! Jenny wants to leave everything all neat and organized for the next manager, but she's itching to move on. . .
Lauren is sorry to hear this
The Good: The baby is healthy, Jen is doing well, and her DH is not freaking out yet!
The Bad: Jen is still unemployed and is now "showing" too much to successfully hide the pregnancy at an interview. Poop.
The Ugly: Jen and Jon's house is still a mess. There is so much work to be done this Spring for general upkeep plus the baby stuff. They have to upgrade electrical, repair cracked ceilings, and clean out the garage.
Hopefully it warms up soon so they can get out to the garage and get some crap out of there!

Let's hope that Kristy is wrong about this and that she gets a great surprise!!
The Good: Kirstins DH made BLT's last night for dinner! They havent had a BLT in soooo long...And her DH loaded them up with bacon. SO FREAKEN GOOD
The Bad: After Kirstin had her BLT she feasted upon some Girl Scout cookies
The Ugly: Kirstin has not made any steps to get her weight under control. She needs to recognize!
But Lorelai heard Kirstin was a Hottie Pattotie (term DH uses...) in another post!

Mayeb its the GS cookies and bacon that is making kirstin hot? Must consume more! lol
The Good: Athena went to the gym on her lunch break.
The Bad: Athena ate a Reese's peanut butter egg after getting back from the gym.
The Ugly: Athena is having a hard time being productive at work. Since Athena found out last week that they are definitely eliminating her job and sending it to India Athena hasn't felt the desire to do any work. Unfortunately Athena has a couple of projects that she must finish by next week and needs to get her behind in gear...maybe another peanut butter egg would help!
The Good: Feeling pretty good today, and Breanne's BFF told her over the weekend she'd like to host a baby shower for Breanne and baby JB.
(Breanne's family is hosting one in her hometown in June) Breanne's department is slow at work this week, so she got done at lunch time today and she's flexed off for tomorrow. Hooray!
The Bad: MIL is coming this afternoon to stay overnight b/c she has a work thing in our town tomorrow. (She's a very nice person, but she has been irritating the stuffing out of Breanne the whole pregnancy.)
The Ugly: Breanne has not figured out what to do for her DH's birthday on Thursday and he won't tell her what he wants for his birthday.
