It's going great! Thanks for asking! It's a 37.5 hour work week so I'm beating traffic on both sides of my drive, there's free coffee everyday (YAY!), a walking work station where I can walk on a treadmill while on my laptop, and I really enjoy the job I'm doing.

We haven't had a single showing yet This weekend we're dropping the price another $5,000 to try and get some interest.

It sounds fantastic! I'm so happy it's going well for you!

(The way it sounds, I'm kind of kicking myself I never nudged Greg to head to the corporate offices there while he worked for that company now! LOL)

Yes well I think it might have worked out better this way if he stayed in the division he is in. I heard the group that was bought out has been told they have jobs until Dec but after that???

Greg's level, I believe, has been told the new company cannot touch them until January 2012.  But the new company has also stated numerous times that they bought the company BECAUSE of the sales staff.  Speculation actually is that rather than cut the sales staff that exists, they'd have them also carry other products that they currently have shipped directly from warehouse.  (If that makes sense.   I'm trying not to get too specific online.  Products the company currently sells are shipped directly... but it would improve customer relationships by having the current sales staff they just acquired also now provide those products in addition to what they already do.)

Yes I know exactly what you mean about the other products and how they're shipped. I really hope that's the way it works out and Greg's job isn't eliminated!

Of our two jobs, we're more worried about mine being eliminated.  The new company's been very good so far; I think time will tell just how good.  Greg is worried he'll lose some vacation time (which they can't touch until January next year.)  If he loses time, I think that'll be a sign more that the new company isn't so great.
