wood floor refinishing?
any recommendations for wood floor refinishing? any advice on cost/sq foot? thx!

I don't post on here often but we just had ours done at Christmas time and are so happy with how they turned out and our floors were pretty bad. At first we had some contractor tell us our floors weren't even salvagable and to just tear them up and put new ones in which were were not about to do. H then found a business card at our local ACE Hardware on the bulletin board and that's how we found the two women that did ours. They said there was absolutely no reason whatsoever to tear up the floors and put new ones down and we trusted their judgment since they do a lot of work on the old houses around Drexel and Penn. They did a great job with ours and were clean with the whole processes, or at least as clean as you can be with having hardwood floors refinished. I am not sure what they charged per square foot but I know the total price and it was very reasonable.
