Is there a "green" coffee maker?
When I'm looking at brands--Cuisinart, Capresso, Braun, Bodum, etc.-- is there a company that is more "green-minded" in its practices? We are not a French-press family and it's time to replace our Cuisinart Grind & Brew (our 2nd since 2005).
Re: Is there a "green" coffee maker?
I don't know if one brand is greener than another. Maybe try to buy the smallest one that realistically fits your needs? That way you can reduce the amount of water and coffee grounds used.
Sorry I'm not very helpful. I tried to find something that maybe used less energy, but Energy Star doesn't evaluate coffee makers.

Maybe this will help.
I will look at it, thanks for the link!

We bought something like this at a garage sale:

I don't know if you are willing to go THAT simple, but we love ours. We don't use it everyday, though. It doesn't use paper filters and just goes on the stove top.
