Sears Tower Colored Lights

Most buildings downtown are donning green lights; does anyone know why the Sears Tower has a gold/yellowish lights on top? I'm stumped and thought maybe I was missing something.

Happy Hump Day (tomorrow)!

Re: Sears Tower Colored Lights

  • Usually yellow is for support of the troops, but I don't know why they wouldn't have green for St. Pattys day.  This is Chicago afterall.

  • I know right!? Home of the green river, most buildings are sporting green lights. My mom suggested maybe it's the "pot of gold!" I guess that's a stretch, but possible. :)
