WE GOT AN OFFER!!
Super high excitement mode!! We got an offer on our house in Atlanta!!! It's only 7k less than the asking price, but they want a lot of concessions (including $4500 in closing costs). We are sending our counter tomorrow- they can have all the concessions they asked for, if they pay the full asking price. The best possible thing that could happen to us right now would be to get rid of this house!! It feels like we are just throwing away money at the beginning of every month, having to pay mortgage and utilities on a house that's 1100 miles away...
