i have always been a very positive person and i hate to be bringing such negativity to the board. i think it's important to talk about both the good and the bad though, b/c in those early weeks when i was a total emotional/hormonal mess, i was able to turn to a nestie that used to be on this board for support b/c i knew she had been through the same thing. so, i hope that in sharing my experiences, i too can help someone else down the road...
in any case, i wanted to post something more positive after my last post, so here are some more positive things i wanted to share with you all ![]()
first, we got our glass casts back of miss A's hand and foot - it turned out really well and i think we will get one for my MIL as a christmas ornament this year b/c she is really into ornaments. the initial order is $70 but any additional pieces are only $40. here's a link for those who are interested and didn't see it before when i posted.

since then I have also learned about this company that makes artwork from your LO's prints, which i think is also pretty cool too.
in other news, miss A no longer cries when i take her out of the bath tub. she loves bath time but has always cried when i take her out to dry her and dress her... last week she all of a sudden stopped doing that. it makes bath time so much more enjoyable for the both of us now that I don't have to worry about her screaming when i take her out of the bath. and even though she has been grabbing for toys for a month now, i did not think to introduce toys to the bath tub until this week.... so, this week i introduced her to disco duck
she loved having something to play with while she was in the tub, and of course, she took him and put him to her mouth and started sucking on him LOL i think she was really disappointed he didn't have any milk for her ![]()
and, with things so busy lately, i never got to post on here about our 3 month pics. i know most of you have seen them on facebook, but here are some of my favorite ones.... we didn't get a lot of smiley ones since she was crying so much, but we still got a few good shots...

and lastly, I can't begin to tell you how much I love it when she giggles and laughs with me. it is my absolute most favorite part of taking care of her right now. this video is from a while back, but I still love it. and she's not laughing in this one, but it is just a really cute video of her "talking" ![]()

Oooooh! I was just going to ask you about the glass casts! I think I might want to get them..... But of course I can't decide hand or foot, pink or clear, to hang or not to hang! Arg!!!!
Oh, and those 3-mo photos are gorgeous!!
And Alexa was JUST eating her bath duckie tonight... LOL... I also strung several plastic rings onto her Oball and she plays with that in the tub sometimes also.

She's beautiful Jaime and I am so glad she's enjoying bath time...I know when Libby cries unconsolably (and predictably...like right now when we put her in her car seat we know she's gonna wail) it's so heart breaking and stressful.
Love the glass pieces too...I want to get them too but have to find $70 in our budget right now. Maybe after we do our taxes...
