Alright, I desperately need some new ones - especially since I got a massive hole in my crotch today. Here's hoping that my students didn't notice!

Do you have a brand you love? I'm really struggling with all these skinny jeans - I'm a total pear shape.

I'm pear and I have a hard time finding jeans.  The White/Black store had a not too stretchy pair that gave a little and I like those, but I got them in November.  Oh, and I have a few pairs by David Kahn that I like.  Usually I go to Nordstrom and try on about 20 pairs to find one that fits.  Then, I have them altered (at the waist - you know how it is).

I looooove Lucky and I wish they sold them in Australia! They're the only brand I've ever been able to find that fit both my shape and my short-waistedness.

I love the fit of my True Religions and Citizens of Humanity jeans.  I like the stretchy denim, which holds up to a couple wears.  I've had them for years, so even though they're $$, they've been a good investment because I haven't had to buy any new ones.... which is usually what happens when the only things I have are just-OK pairs.

Oh, and for the more trendy styles, like skinny jeans, I go the more affordable route with Gap.  The plus there is the various lengths offered and the petites line.

Love my MEXX jeans and Old Navy too.

You can also find MEXX at Sears. They sometimes have sales there when the brand store doesn't.

i don't like skinny jeans either. my favorite pair are actually from ann taylor loft, got them on clearance for less than $20 i don't know much about the really expensive brands b/c i just can't bring myself to pay so much for jeans...i'm too frugal

I love my Jag jeans! I finally was successful in finding a pair of jeans that I love.  I buy them at Nordstrom but they have a website that lists which stores they carry them at (some specialty type stores in Canada).

I really love Joe's Jeans because they are super flattering. I have a booty and find that the Honey cut (for curvy bods) are awesome! They are $$ but last forever and are a great investment. For more affordable jeans, I actually find that Old Navy is good too.

Jeans shopping can be such a pain...I have been in the fitting room with about 20 pairs before narrowing it down!

My absolute faves are Hudsons...they are super comfy and the legs are very slimming.  I also like William Rast, True Religion, Citizens and Paige.

I love Citizens and Rock and Republic jeans. However, I don't like the price tag...so here is what I do:

 Find a pair of jeans that fits you really well, and just how you like. I take all the measurements of the jeans...then I go to www.authenticforum.com or honestforum.com. You can register for free at both. On both forums, they tell you how to measure jeans, and then people post their designer jeans that they are trying to sell. I have bought numerous designer jeans from this site, and I've never paid over $80 for a pair. For some, that's still a high price, but when they are originally over $100, that's a pretty good deal. 

 All jeans are authentic, and all posters point out flaws, rips, and marks. I only buy jeans from this site now. I measured my best fitting pair of jeans, and keep those measurements written down so I can search their site. The biggest differences in sizes is in the wash, so every brands and styles sizes are different (for instance, William Rast runs big). 

 Hope this helps the denim addicts out there. I fully recommend both forums, and have never had a problem in my purchases!

I'm a levi's girl and Rider's Copper by Lee (Walmart) and Mossimo (Target) I'm an hour glass figure and have a hard time finding jeans   Good Luck with your search

I used to buy from these forums too!  I don't any more because I am trying to free myself from my jeans addiction.  Previous to my discovery of designer jeans, my most expensive pair of jeans was a $25 pair from Urban Outfitters.  Then one day I decided to just splurge on ONE pair of jeans that fit me perfectly, regardless of the price.  That was it.  I bought my first pair of designer jeans (Seven for All Mankind) and can't go back!  My faves are Seven, Citizens for Humanity, and Paige.  They are a pretty penny, but I never buy them unless I'm getting a great deal.  You can buy a pair at Nordie Rack for about $60 (not in Hawaii...boo).

I love David Kahn, Jag, and Kut from the Kloth.  Although, they could all be a *smidge* longer on my 5'10" body!  I need to go jeans shopping too and I am dreading it.
