Two lost dogs found south side Indy

I friend of ours found two dogs running around the south side of Indianapolis tonight. One is a boxer (pic below) and we are keeping him with us and taking to the vet tomorrow for a general checkup. The other was a labrador. The Humane Society checked them for microchips and they don't have them.

If you know of anyone who is missing these dogs please contact me asap!! My email is kellymarcov@yahoo.com so please let me know! The boxer is a neutered male. A friend of ours is keeping the lab for now so I don't know as much about him.

Re: Two lost dogs found south side Indy

  • Worst story ever!! I have an update!!

The dogs owner didn't want the boxer anymore. Anyone wanting this boxer boy please leave a comment here or email me at kellymarcov at yahoo dot com. She just abondonded her baby!! Who does that?!

He is male, neutered, good with other dogs (great with ours), looks to weigh 40lb or so, mixed, housebroken, knows basic commands. He is very friendly!! Let me know if you are interested. I have already contacted the Humane Society and a local Boxer Rescue but not sure who else to ask.

  • I hate people like that.?

DH and I found a stray and when we found his owner she said, "Well, he's too much trouble and I don't want him anymore. Can't you just keep him?"

Umm, yes, I will keep him and find him a new home because you are a useless excuse for a pet owner. Please never get another animal again.

That pup is now living happily with my best friend.?

Good luck finding that adorable pup a home! Someone out there needs to spoil him!

  • I just realized I wrote "abandonded" .. haha .. I'm a ruh-tard. lol

I need a Hangover fix RIGHT NOW. Cool

That is EXACTLY what I thought when she said it to me. She went to pick up the lab but she was old and is low maintenance I guess. It's sad the people out there. She even had her daughter post a listing on CraigsList for the lost dogs with a picture and everything! That is how I found the owner.

Well you are right, someone does need to spoil him. He is so sweet. I hope one of the eighteen thousand places I posted his picture and story will reach someone who wants a new loving pet. :)

  • I posted on Pets as well, but there is a central Indiana boxer rescue that is fairly good to work with. They can be slow with responding, but once they get in touch, they are great to work with. I've worked with them on other boxers in the past.
Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • Yeah that post got kinda off topic (the nicest way I can put it) and I did see your post and reply. Thank you so much! I think I found this website for Central Indiana Boxer Club Rescue. If the one you are thinking of is a different one then please let me know and I will contact them too.
  • That is so sad.  I wish we could take him, but our house is too small for 3 boxers.

Our Lola was taped up in a box and put in a dumpster at abour 7 weeks old.  She was almost dead when some kids found her.

It's a sad sick world out there.
