Does anyone have any reccomendations on an OB doctor? DH and I are ready to start having kids but I would like to meet with a doc before we start trying. The OB I have now won't deliver in SA so I am looking for a new one in SA. TIA for any suggestions.
Samantha
Re: ob-gyn docs?
I am currently using Dr. Elizabeth King at Northeast OBGYN
www.ne-obgyn.com
I have a feeling most of the recommendations will come from that practice...
Dr. Kethereddy from Lonestar Obgyn is awesome! Actually, all the ladies there are (Lonestar is all female) and I've really been pleased ever since we've been having our preggo visits with her. They're located in the Medical Center.

agree w/ NE-OBGYN- I see Dr. Farhart (he's male) and both my h and I really like him.?
The male thing doesn't phase me...??
If you want to go with an OB/GYN...I would recommend Northeast OBGYN. I also saw Dr. King there and she is nice
Right now, I am seeing a midwife at LoneStar OBGYN and I love her. If you are not closed off to the idea, I would recommend checking them out. The midwives work in conjucntion with the doctors there.
I love love love my OB - Peter Kuhl from Lonestar OBGYN (They do have a few men). he's very natural birth oriented, relaxed, and wonderful. The first time I saw him was in an emergency - didn't have an OB and thought I was having an ectopic (turns out I was) and he was wonderful, and has been great ever since.
If I can manage a pregnancy that sticks (3 miscarriages in 4 pregnancies), I'll go back to seeing my midwife (a CPM), but he's totally supportive of that (I'm not really high risk, just old....)
