Small easter party/egg hunt - menu help
What do I serve? I bought the Annie's mac-n-cheese. Was going to get their crackers, baby carrots w/dip, carrot cake for dessert. Need a main dish or do pizza?
Coloring pages for the kids. Make an egg wreath. The hunt. Any other ideas?
Re: Small easter party/egg hunt - menu help
i always make these, but i dont use paper liners an i use mini muffin tins for a mold because the big ones are too big.
i dye coconut with green food coloring and sprink that on top under whopper eggs. theyre super cute and perfect size
basically just make peanut butter/chocolate rice crispies and shove into pan sprayed muffin tins. press down in the center to make a nestier shape for the eggs to sit in.
can be done without the pan, just have to shape them yourself, which i end up doing for about half of them because my pan is only 24 cups and i have a huge family!
i usually do some without coconut too.
DO NOT plan to use the edible grass sold in the easter aisle, i was going to one year and it was so yucky! tasted like yucky styrofoam!. i was scrambling to find green food coloring easter morning, thank goodness for neighbors!
