Movers?

Hey ladies. My husband and I are going to be moving and I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with local moving companies?

Avoid AmeriTex movers. I had one great experience with them and one horrible experience that made me never want to use them again. They dropped several things, scratched several things and weren't very friendly.

I love McCollisters - they are a united agent, I have used them several times...not the cheapest but excellent service

Avoid All My Sons. They took their sweet time and missed an entire closet of things along with not having any tools to disassemble items (which they say they do at no additional cost) and scratching half our furniture.

Avoid EJ Movers.  The scratched my brand new SS washer and drier and took thier sweet time!!!!!  Then some stuff I wanted put upstairs they said"  I will do it just before we leave"  they never did and I was so pissed at them by the end I just wated them out of my house and didn't even feel like reminding them.

I used Apple movers twice and they were fine both times.  Cheaper than a lot of other places.  They didn't have basic tools for taking furniture apart, so have it available or do it in advance.
