Whoohoo! Garden Update!
I just sent out back to water and saw GREEN!!!! The broccoli and kale have both sprouted! I am so proud of them! After our horrible failure of a garden last year this is such a thrill to see.

I'm just about to tie on my boots and go weed the beds in my front yard. I did about 16 square feet in half an hour yesterday...hoping I can be more efficient today. I really need to plant soon!
ETA: Boooo on my gardening front. I just spent more than an hour and got only sightly more weeded today than yesterday. It was more clovers and grass so it took longer. I was thinking of your growing garden as inspiration, though!

This makes me feel so.guilty about our veggie garden though. I should have started several of the seeds indoors two weeks ago, and got hung up on what piece of furniture to grow them on. I finally found the perfect cabinet that's tall enough to keep the cat off, wide enough on top to set the seed trays on, and has doors so our canned goods will be in the dark. Just ordered it though, so I'll be 3 weeks behind by the time I start the seeds next weekend. Booger!
Three weeks ago.
LOL...now I'm aiming for this weekend. I do have tomato, jalapeno, and basil seeds starting in the house. Oh, and I have three garlic cloves I composted because they were bad and I found them growing in the bin. I rescued them and put them in pots.
