Hair Salon Recs

Okay I'm so tired of the guy who does my hair.  The past two times I've gone I've said I want something different, up to you just don't make me look like a boy.  Guess. . .what he's given me the same haircut I've had for three years. . .I need a change!!  If you don't mind post prices too.  :)  I work in Stone Oak and live in Schertz so anywhere is really fine by me.

Re: Hair Salon Recs

  • I haven't paid for pricey haircuts in years! I go to either Doris or Rose at MasterCuts in North Star Mall. The price is amazing (like $26 a pop) and they do amazing work. I love my hair every time I walk out of there. They really listen to what you want. Give them a try and tell them Suzan sent you. :)
  • You could try the Aveda Institute down on Grayson St. I've been there many times for highlights and a cut and have always walked away happy. The hair cuts are $16-20, and another $12 if you want a blow dry and style. I've never had any crazy cut there, just long layers and face frame, but based on the styles the students all have I would think they could manage just about anything you would want. And you don't really have to worry that much about them being students since their instructors check in and guide them. Just make sure you ask them what they're going to do before giving them free reign and I think you would be fine.
