St Patty Day Parties?
Anyone hosting or attending a party this weekend? I know it's not until next week but seems to be a lot going on everywhere.
We'll probably go to the parade downtown here in Atlanta and may go to a party next week. 
Re: St Patty Day Parties?
Not so much a party, but I hosted a St. Patrick's Day dinner last night.
I made corned beef and cabbage with Irish soda bread. We had beer and green ginger ale for drinks (I just put 10 drops of green food coloring into a container of ginger ale).
For dessert, I got some wonderful ideas from the ladies on the WC board, but I had a very busy week at work and no time or energy to cook a great dessert, so I just picked up some irish cream cupcakes from a bakery.
I bought chocolates that had a leprechaun on them saying Happy St. Patrick's Day and gave these as favors. I put them in a clear plastic bag and tied them with green ribbon.
For a centerpieces I went out and bought three bunches of daffodils, put them each in a bud vase and wrapped the bud vase with green ribbon.
We had a St. Patrick's Day dinner party on Saturday. I made corn beef, cabbage, ruben dip, brocolli with red pepper, green rice krispie treats, green mashed potatoes, and shamrock cookies.
