Recommend your comfy shoes/sandals
I really need some new ones as all of mine have broken and are falling apart. ?I haven't worn leather in years, since I love animals, but I think I'm gonna have to suck it up and deal with them because I have issues with my feet (broke one foot twice and the other ankle once- crazy cracked heels etc) and I need something that I can walk in without it hurting my feet.
DH has Birks, but I hate them almost as much as the look of my Crocs. ?At this point though, comfort is tantamount.
What do you rec for a sandal? ?And for a low-heeled shoe? ?Any brands you love? ?TIA?
Re: Recommend your comfy shoes/sandals
I'm really not a croc fan, but I was having a lot of foot pain this summer from wearing flip-flops all the time. I gave in & put a pair of Mary Jane crocs. They are so comfy & my foot pain is gone! They may not be the cutest or most stylish shoes, but the comfort & lack of pain is worth it.
I also just saw something on WebMD about the Croc crazy & how lots of podiatrists are now recommending them.

I also recommend the mary jane crocs. I wore those suckers all around Disney and never once did my feet hurt! I think they are cute, but my DH hates them!! = ) I've always had good luck with Reef flip flops. GL!
I got some AWESOME sandals from LL Bean

?
They're so comfy!!?
I am a huge fan of Keen sandals....I wear them everywhere!
Also Dansko...my favorite winter shoe!
I'm so glad you asked this question Jeanette.
I have been having mad problems with my feet recently. I have flat feet, I think I have some corns now from my flip flops rubbing funny on my feet and my feet now have become wider than they have been. I can only wear one pair of sneakers I have right now, and that's because they are like 8 or 9 years old and wicked broken in/falling apart.
I really am not a fan of Crocs, but as Jeanette said, comfort right now is all I care about. What about the fake Crocs? I don't know about spending $50 on shoes with holes in them.
For the fall/winter, Danskos, hands down. ?I got my first pair when I worked retail, they saved my feet (and knees, and back)....I got my most recent pair with my last pregnancy, and think I need a new pair for this fall!
?
I need comfy shoes too and plan on buying Dansko's Danielle style in pomegranate. Very cute! I also like some of the new Earth shoes styles and they are supposed to be great for your feet as well. I have to admit though that I love my Birkenstocks and wear them everyday during the summer, but I have the cute styles and not the typical Birkis. They are great for my feet.
Jenny
Thanks so much!!! ?I am going to be buying some Dansko's for the fall/winter in the next few days. ?May stick with my ugly Crocs for the rest of the summer, since I can't afford both right now, unless DH decides to let me go for the Tevas. : )
Jenny- I was going to buy the same style as you and then I read some reviews on the Danielle style that said it was very uncomfortable...so you may want to check first...
I am so glad I asked you ladies! ?Now I know what kinds to get.?
