How did you meet?

I don't recall us ever sharing this with each other. So I was just wondering how did everyone meet their hubby.

DH and I met through my SIL. We were working together at the time and she had been going on and on about her brother and was doing the same with him about me. She was secretly trying to see if we were a good match. So one weekend we make plans to catch a movie but what she failed to mention was that she was bringing her brother along. Pretty much after that first night DH and I have been inseperable.

We met at a club/bar in Tallahassee where we both went to college. I was with my girlfriends and he was with his fraternity brothers. I pinched his butt when I passed by and then he offered to buy me a drink. I told him my name was "Giselle" instead of my real name (I didn't think I'd see him again.) He called me a few nights later and I invited him over to bake cookies with my roommates and me. Then, I went to his fraternity's xmas social and the rest is history. Oh, and I told him my real name a few weeks later. Such a romantic story, right? lol

DH was a senior in HS and I was a sophomore. We met at lunch because his friend was dating my friend.

I was dating his brother's best friend when we met the first time, and then his brother when we met the second time. We hated each other in the beginning, and he used to hang up on me when I would call to talk to his brother! Funny how things change!

We went to high school together, he was a year ahead of me and I was friends with a lot of his friends.  Even though we knew of each other, we weren't friends and didn't hit it off until we were set up.  His friend gave me his screen name (so cheesy) so we could talk.  We talked online, then on the phone, then finally went on a double date. 

The rest is history!  That was 9.5 years ago!

We were roommates in a 5 bedroom home with 3 other roommates and DH managed the home for the owner. It was kind of like "Real World", but only he and I hung out and got to become good friends. It's kind of weird that we've been living together ever since we met.

We met at a bakesale. I was in a sorority and we were doing a bake sale. DJ knew one of my sorority sisters so he came over to say hi. We hit it off instantly.

One of my friends from HS went to college with him so she introduced us the summer after freshman year.  We "dated" that summer but then didnt really talk.  After I moved to FL, he came down on vacation with a couple friends and our mutual friend told him to call me so we could meet up to go out.  That night we hit it off again and started talking but he was living in Cleveland at the time.  After about 2 months of that, I was like, this is stupid, we never see each other.  2 days later he called me to say that his company offered him a promotion in Orlando, he got the job and moved down in August 05.... and here we are!

DH and I met at a getty when I was still in high school - our circle of friends crossed because he was friends with my best friend's boyfriend. I was a junior, he was a freshman in college. He was immediately interested in me and asked my best friend whether I was available, but I had a boyfriend at the time. When I broke it off with the evil exboyfriend two years later, DH and I met up at his birthday party, we flirted the whole night and the rest is history
