Wax Places in Kendall

Hi girls! So I went to Uni K Wax today and even though the service was amazing, I am kind of thinking it's getting expensive. Does anyone know of a place where I can get a good wax for a cheaper price? I noticed there was a place on 137th Ave and I think, 112 Street that just said Body Waxing outside. Does anyone have any info on that place? Maybe a place where I can get my nails done too would be nice.

Thanks!!

Re: Wax Places in Kendall

  • I go to European Wax Center on Kendall Drive and 124th Avenue. I usually do my wax with Diana. I love them. Their prices are comparable to Uni K. Although I think their bikini was going up. I think the place you are referring to is Florida Body Waxing. Is it in the shopping center where BK is? If so then I went their once or twice. If I remember correctly they were a little bit cheaper. The lady who did my wax was Pili. They were OK but I felt more comfortable at EWC. I don't know of any real cheap waxing places. Most hair salons do wax and are cheaper but they use the honey wax which is really harsh on my skin. Good luck with your search. If you do find a place please share it with us.
  • I also go to European Wax Center.  I pay for it monthly on my credit card and it gives me a discount off of the services (I forget how much, but I want to say 20% off?). I also get a discount on the products there too which I also use.

I also think the wax there makes a difference, it's much better for sensitive skin.

    HTH!

  • Thanks. I have been to European Wax Center. I actually went there on Friday, but they were totally booked, so I went to Uni K instead.
  • If you decide to give EWS a try, they have a membership where you pay 9.99 a month and then get 30% off of all services as often as you like. It's really only good if you get more than one service, like brows or legs... anyway, it saves me about 12 bucks total by doing it this way per month.

He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.

  • If you go to Unik in Town & Country go with Ivanna. She is really good.
