Any tips

For vegetation/mulch to soak up water?? We apparently have a leaky corner that probably needs resealing, but I'm thinking that we need a landscaping fix as well given the way our yard is shaped.  My mom mentioned planting some stuff there that would soak up excess water - any suggestions?

Re: Any tips

  • I usually try to find plants that use the least water, so no help there... But have you looked into installing a "dry creek"? They work kind of like a french drain, and can look nice too.

Or gorilla hair mulch seems to be pretty absorbent.
