Well... I'm back at work which in some aspects (like having full income rather then partial with Short Term Disability) it's nice, but in others it's difficult (I had a lot of fun being a "home maker" even with a bum leg).
However, next week I take my first trip! I have to travel to Ann Arbor, MI for a meeting with department. I hate to say this, but we're bringing in two of my employee's (each at a different level) so I not only have to make the obstical of my first trip- but I have to make sure I'm "putting on my game face" for my employee's who are attending this meeting.
I'm very nervous about the plane ride- and about being on my own for a few days (DH still helps me a lot). My saving grace- my BFF whom I work with will also be in attendance, so if stuff gets to difficult she'll come tuck me in
Anyone else dreading the upcoming week?
Re: Anxiety over the upcoming week
You will do fine!! Especially with your BFF there!!
I never have anything going on during the week. Our life is extremely routine. Wake up, take care of baby, do homework, SO gets home, make dinner, go to bed. The only thing out of the ordinary is taking the kitty for her 6 month check up on Saturday. Boring life!
Try not to worry too much, I'm sure you'll do fine!
I'm dreading this week because I have to go back to night shift for the week. I hate working nights, plus my DH finally got called back to work this week. So it ends up that we'll be on opposite schedules & won't get to see much of each other. At least it's only for a week though.
I'm sure you're going to do great. I can understand being nervous, though. Hang in there! I'm sure BFF will be more than willing to jump in and help you if you need anything.
::hugs::
