So I got married in oct of 09 and hubby and I skipped having a honeymoon due to money issues. Plus hes still and shcool and i didn't have a stable job at the time. Now i have a state job and he will grad in may. So now I'm trying to decide if we should take a honeymoon or put money aside for a house. we can rent to own where we live now but we aren't sure if we want to buy it or not. So any thoughts..be responsible and save aside for house or take a honeymoon to celebrate our marriage?
Re: honeymoon
I totally agree. I would save and just go somewhere for a weekend now. There are so many neat places just a few hours away that make great weekend trips.
