I was at the store the other day and happened to see that they carry the Burts Bees Shampoos and Conditioners. They smelled amazing! I was planning to try it, but I wanted to see what you all thought. Is it worth buying?
Re: Burts Bees
I apparently in the minority here - I LOVE them. I have fine blonde hair that needs washing every day. I tried several other types of shampoos/conditioners and never liked the result. With Burt's Bees my hair is awesome. I've gotten a ton of compliments on it, even from my hair dresser.
If you buy the Burt's Bees Head to Toe sample kit, I think there's a sample of the grape fruit style. I like the pomegranite ones better, but it gives you an idea.
Good luck!
I think this is me, which is why I'm still giving it a whirl. I have the Brazil nut I think and I feel like i have to use so much, but I'm used to crap ingredients otherwise so I think it might just be me? Although I did try a Naked Naturals conditioner that I loved and it was much cheaper, so I probably won't be a Burts Bees convert when it comes to hair care.
What do you mean a 'shock'? I found it to be an immediate and obvious improvement. My hair has always been dry and I need so much less conditioner now that I'm not stripping it with sulfates. They do lather less, but to me, not significantly so.
I use Burt's Bees. Ideally I'd use a smaller company's product, but I've had some bad experiences and the Burt's Bees moisture line works great for me. I do use the Gudonya Too conditioner as an extra treatment.
Although Burt's Bees is owned by Clorox, I understand that the BB segment has maintained its 'greenness' and has done a lot of good in some areas, like saving frogs.
