DH and I are newlyweds that have been trying to "green" up our lives considerably over the past year. We recently jumped in to composting, and we built our own raised garden beds this year. We cut out paper towels, no longer buy cleaning chemicals, and make our own laundry soap.I hope to gain more ideas off this board as we find more changes we can make to help our planet.

We have really made a push this year to live greener as well. You and I are about at the same point. Right now my focus is the food we buy, which is really a challenge because all of these concepts are new to me. Congrats on your progress!

We are also newish to green living.  We are long time gardeners and recently had our first baby.  We are cloth diapering, and cloth baby wiping .  So far so good!  I am contemplating a compost bin also this summer.  We definately recycle and have replaced all of our windows, heating/ ac, reinsulated our home and bought more fuel efficient vehicles.  I'd like to think we are on the right path

DH and I are newlyweds and have been striving to become more "Green" over the past few months as well.  Tomorrow we are building a compost bin and starting our canister garden.
