How was everyone's weekend?
My weekend was a blur and I did not do anything worth importance. How about you?

My weekend was pretty good. I didn't get much rest but I was able to get some much needed shopping. Spring is already upon us and my closet was full of dark cloth. I got some cute stuff at Old Navy and Marshalls. Other than that I did the usual mani/pedi and dinner with the hubby.
Pretty good. Went grocery shopping on Saturday morning, then Michelle came over and we went shopping. I got a pair of editor pants from express which I am current wearing and LOVING them. I wish they would have had them in tan in my size.
DH and I went for a run sat and sunday evenings which was good. We met our neighbor that lives behind us for the first time and she was very sweet.
Sunday we missed church bc of the time change... oops. We basically just caught up on more LOST. We're now at the beginning of season 4.
He's my fairytale, a dream when I'm not sleeping.

Oooh girl, it is so easy! And really yummy and relatively healthy, too.
You'll need:
1 bag of Extra Large, Peeled, Deveined Shrimp
2 small cans of tomato sauce
1/2 large green bell pepper, chopped
1 tomato, diced
1 small white onion, chopepd
About 3/4 cup chopped cilantro
12 oz beer (not ale - cheap is fine, like Miller or Bud)
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
About 2 tsp salt, to taste
1 tsp sugar
First, put the onion and pepper to sautee in a pan with some olive oil with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper and 1/2 tsp of onion powder.
Let it cook on medium heat until the onions are translucent. Then, pour in the two cans of tomato sauce, plus two cans of water (just use the empty tomato can to measure).
Simmer at medium heat until it's bubbling, add the remaining seasonings (another tsp of salt, another 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, another 1/2 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp sugar).
Let it simmer for a few minutes, then pour in the cilantro, tomato, the shrimp and the entire beer. It will need to cook on medium heat for about 30 minutes until the sauce has reduced to a nice, soupy consistency. We serve it with white rice and tostones
I had an awesome weekend because I went down to Miami to be with friends and family. =D
It was my SIL's bday on Friday. On Saturday it was DH's best friend's daughter's 1st birthday and we pretty much spent the whole day with them and then on Sunday morning spent time with my parents and in the afternoon went out on my FIL's boat. The day was awesome but not to be out on a boat. It was windy and the water was freezing. Then it was time to go back home. I love where I live because there is no traffic, I can go out and find a parking spot wherever I go and everyone is nice and respectful but I miss not having my family near.

Friday, DH was working late so I picked up Five Guys and bought makeup at the mall. I love the new makeup and skin stuff I got!
Saturday, I went to the boondocks, also known as Katie's house
. Loved seeing her house in person and shopping with her! She is a good shopping partner. I wished we lived closer to each other, Katie!
Sunday, we celebrated my mom's birthday at my sister's house. All my siblings all got together and gave her an iPad! The only thing is it won't be delivered until late April. I cannot wait until it arrives so I can play with it.
I'm looking forward to resting this week.
