Dark mulch

I like the look of it.  Last year we got free mulch from the town and it faded (you get what you pay (or not pay) for), but this year I want to buy some.  Recommendations on what type does not fade?

I've been using Scott's NatureScapes for the last few years. It comes in all different colors, but I typically get the black. It doesn't fade at all, and works well to retain moisture.

I don't know about what kind, but I spent a lot of time calling around price comparing last summer since we need over 15 cubic yards.  The best price is a place in North Syracuse on Taft Rd where it intersects with Northern Blvd.  They have good stuff too, it was recommended to me by a landscaper.
